Relationships can be a beautiful thing when people actually take them seriously. Now a days men/women jump into relationships because they start feeling lonely. Yes, being lonely can be miserable but we honestly don’t have to have a boyfriend or girlfriend to keep us company. Take some time out to get to know who you are because most likely some of us don’t know who we truly are. We spend so much time trying to please other people that we act like someone we aren’t. If you can’t be yourself around people it’s clear they don’t need to be in your life.
Anyways back to the relationship thing. If you’re really that lonely go find a friend. Someone you enjoy spending time with. Make sure you two have a understanding. Don’t want to start catching feelings and the next person doesn’t feel the same as you. When we do end up in a relationship with someone I also don’t think our world has to be revolved around them. Stop trying to spend every second in the day together. Both of you still need to have your own lives.
I know when I get a boyfriend, whenever that is, I don’t want him following me everywhere and asking me what I’m doing every five minutes. We both need to have our own friends but at the same time get along with each others. There needs to be days that we just have a break from each other. No texting or calling each other throughout the day. We would need “me time.” Spending too much time together eventually ends relationships. We start getting sick of the person.
Then wassup with people always talking about “I want a bf/gf” knowing they really don’t. They just like how it sounds. Those be the main people that go out and make someone their other half and then ends up cheating on them constantly. Before you start talking about you want to be in a relationship think about the pros/cons of being in one. Shit you can do so much more when you’re single. You can have all the fun you want. I’m not saying go out there and hoe around but shit have fun. What’s the point of being tied down to someone when obviously you aren’t ready. You don’t want to be obligated to anyone just yet. You damn sure don’t want to have to deal with the unnecessary drama.
This is just how I feel at the moment.
